California Design, 1930–1965: "Living in a Modern Way"
While on stay-cation, I had a chance to check out LACMA, which currently has an exhibit on "mid-century" design in California. There are textiles, furniture, posters, and what's this....surfboards?! Here are some pics of some museum quality Greg Noll and Hobie boards. The exhibit is worth checking out and is up until June as part of Pacific Standard Time.
