This board is a step-deck in terminology only, the step is there to reduce swing weight while turning. The customer like to turn in preferance to noseriding, so I took out some foam on the nose. Traditional step-decks have a bit more rocker in the nose and a very prominent "step" in the front third of the board, this was designed to flex down crating negative rocker allowing the board to plane on the waters surface andf allow for better, longer noserides due to the negative rocker crated by the "stepped" or reduced nose deck volume.
